Build the Love

Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken

Falling in love with your spouse may have seemed effortless but keeping your marriage strong is a daily commitment that requires your time and attention. Too many times, couples become complacent after they get married thinking that the love they had in the beginning will be enough to sustain the marriage.
You must build the love in your marriage constantly. Never take your spouse for granted. Never get too comfortable with your spouse that you forget to be sensitive to his or her feelings. Remember, marriage is not about you alone. You must show warmth and encouragement to your spouse.
Do little things to put a smile on your spouse’s face. Go the extra mile to do activities that will create a special bond between the two of you. Simple gestures of love can change the atmosphere in your home.
