Husbands love your wives

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.

Ephesians 5:25 (NIV)

A woman longs to be cherished by her husband. She wants to know that her husband’s love for her is everlasting. In fact, a woman is not meant to come into a man's life for his selfish interests. She comes for the man to lavish his love on her.

That is why the Bible instructs men to love their wives just as Christ loved the church. You should love your wife unconditionally; at all times and in all seasons. Your love for her should not depend on what she does or what she does not do.

Loving your spouse unconditionally is a choice. It involves making sacrifices and learning how you can love your wife better. It also involves studying your wife and knowing how she receives love best. Be committed in your effort to love your wife unconditionally.

TAKE ACTION

Surprise your wife. Do something special for her. Make her feel loved.
