Acts 4:12-14
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.

What is the source of your faith, child of God? What are your faith and boldness in life based upon? Is it God's love and His power in you or is it something else? One of the major factors that caused people to marvel and wonder at the lives of the early believers was the fact that their boldness and impact far exceeded their academic background, social status or any other qualification or connection they had. The only thing that people could trace the quality of their lives to was their relationship and association with Christ. There was something about their lives that consistently pointed to the power and glory of Christ that was in them. They were spreading the fragrance of Christ's glory. They performed notable and undeniable miracles. Their lives bore witnessand reflected evidence of the power and glory of Christ.
Their faith and boldness was not a function of anything else but God's power within them. Their lives were propelled by the Spirit and power of Christ that was in them. Their relationship with Christ was real and very evident, 1John 1:1-2. This was why Apostle Paul counted everything else as dung compared to knowing Christ, Phil.3:3-10. He had full and complete confidence in nothing else but Christ. There is absolutely nothing wrong with attaining status, having human connections or obtaining academic and other qualifications; but there is everything wrong with putting your faith in those things and not in God because those things are limited compared to the power that your faith in Christ can produce in your life.
PRAYER FOCUS: Tell God today that your faith is absolutely in His love and His power in your life.
