CGMI ABOVE ONLY - The Wisdom of Walking in the Spirit

The Wisdom of Walking in the Spirit

SUNDAY
OCT. 9

Galatians 6:7-10
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

How are you leading your life? Are you leading your life by the guidance of God's Spirit or according to the lusts and desires of your flesh? Choosing a Spirit-led life embodies the wisdom of God, as doing so could save your life and connects you to more of God's life and blessings. On the other hand, allowing the lusts of the flesh to dictate the direction of your life exemplifies foolishness because it will destroy your life and cut you off from the life and blessings of God.

Romans 8:6-8 says, for to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. Do not be deceived by anything or by anyone and choose not to live your life arbitrarily. The fastest way for you to actually experience God's blessings and abundance is for you to follow God's leading and to please Him with your life. As you seek first God's kingdom and His righteousness, every other thing will be added unto you, Matt.6:33.

The Spirit of God will never lead you to do anything that is against the Word of God. Remain confident that every time you choose to walk in the Spirit, you sow seeds of eternal life into your future and embody more of the fruit of the Spirit (Gal.5:22-23).

PRAYER : Heavenly Father, I desire to please You and do Your will with all my heart. I receive Your grace to continually walk in the Spirit.
