Wives, respect your husbands

�and let the wife see that she respects her husband.

Ephesians 5:33 (ESV)

After admonishing husbands to love their wives in the book of Ephesians, Paul also admonishes women to respect their husbands and submit to them. It has been said that one of the greatest needs of men is respect.

Respect your husband. Honour him the best way you can. Honouring your husband is not a sign of weakness. It does not make you less than who you are. When you honour your husband, you are acknowledging his God-given role as the head and leader of the home.

Just as husbands are expected to love their wives, so should you love your husband unconditionally. Your husband is not perfect. He will make mistakes but you can choose to love him and honour him. Staying in love is a conscious, daily decision that every couple must make.

Find special ways to show your husband how much you love and honour him.
