Bringing Heaven Down to Earth
Romans 12:2 (NIV), Matthew 6:9-10 (GNB)
Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is — his good, pleasing and perfect will. *This, then, is how you should pray: 'Our Father in heaven: May your holy name be honored; may your Kingdom come; may your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

God's original intention when He created man was that everything happening on earth would be enacted as it was happening in Heaven. He wanted there to be no difference between Heaven and earth. Earth was supposed to be like an annex or smaller branch of Heaven. This is why God made man in His image and likeness and remained in regular fellowship and communion with him. God wanted a seamless flow between Him and man and between the way things are done in Heaven and on earth. However, the fall of man resulted in a disconnection and everything changed. Thankfully, Jesus came to redeem us from this fall and to restore us back into the seamless connection and flow with God.
Now, God wants your life to so reflect Him and His Kingdom that people are drawn to know Him and drawn to enter His Kingdom as a result. God does not want you to be trapped by the limitations of this world or to be subjected into the world's thinking mold. You are seated together with Christ in Heavenly places, Eph.2:6. You are not of this world so resist the urge to yield yourself to the limitations of this world. Do not allow the limitations of this world to drag you down to their level. Rather, let your connection to Heaven flow and God will empower you to be transformed and to transform the lives of those around you and your environment into Heaven's reality. Let God's will be done on earth as it is in Heaven through you. Press deeper into Christ, deeper into the Word of God and deeper into the Spirit of God, Rom.14:17. Know God's will, pray God's will and do God's will.
FAITH DECLARATION:I refuse to be limited by the limitations of this world. I choose to tap into God's will, His grace and His resources for my life. I am continually transformed and I am transforming others also.
