Matthew 6:13b, 1Chronicles 29:11-12
.. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen. *Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all. Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.

Though God's Word reminds us that we are kings and priests and that we shall reign on this earth (Rev.5:10), we must never forget that the kingdom, the power and all the glory belong to Him. Even our lives belong to Him. The kingdom we are reigning in belongs to Him. The power by which we reign belongs to Him and all the glory for the great things happening in our lives belongs to Him.We are not ambassadors of ourselves. We are ambassadors of Christ. We are here to promote God's kingdom, not our own. We are here to please Him by believing in Him and doing His will, by preaching the gospel, healing the sick and liberating all that are oppressed by the devil. We are called to be fruitful with the abilities God has given us and by positively influencing the lives of those around us.
We belong to the Lord. Romans 14:8 says, for whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. Like we see in Matthew 5:16, the aim of our good works is for people to glorify our father in heaven, not to glorify us. We are not to worship ourselves or any other man or woman because of the grace, power or blessings of God on our lives or theirs. We are to ascribe all the glory to God because it belongs to Him and He deserves every single bit of it.
PRAYER FOCUS: Worship God for the privilege to be a king and a priest unto Him. Declare that your life and everything about you belongs to Him and that your life will continue to glorify Him.
