Manifesting More of Christ's Life and Works

Matthew 21:20-21
And when the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!; Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

After Jesus realized that His disciples were astonished at his exercise of dominion over the fig tree, He told them that if only they would have faith, they would be able to do the same thing and even speak to and move mountains. God has given you and me everything that we need to manifest Christ's life and His works. The same life that is in Christ is in us. As Christ is, so are we in this world, 1John 4:17.
Christ needed a human body to live and function on this earth. That is why He was born into this world. Right now, He has been born in you and me. That is why we are called His Body. Now He lives and functions in us.We are as powerful as Christ was when He was on this earth. We can live like Him and we can do His works. Our mindset and consciousness need to change. We must continue to practice God's ways and exercise the faith of Christ that God has given us. We have to put on Christ by renewing our minds with His Word, Col.3:10. We must stop seeing ourselves according to who we are in the flesh. We are not just ordinary people like the rest of the world. We are new creatures in Christ, 2Cor.5:16-17.
Deliberately desire to be more like Christ in the way He related and fellowshipped with God, in the way He loved God and walked in God's holiness and righteousness and in the way He carried out God's will and manifested His power. Jesus took our place on the cross. Now it is time for us to take His place on the earth.
PRAYER: Tell God you want to manifest more of Christ's nature and works. Receive God's grace to practice His ways and exercise Christ's faith.
