Impacting and Recruiting Men as Christ Did

Mathew 28:18-20
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Jesus certainly had the power to conduct miracles in the lives of men; but He usually did not stop there. Many times, Jesus also sought to make disciples or evangelists of those He had touched with God's power. This was the case when it came to Peter who had allowed Jesus to use his boat to teach the people. It is one thing for us to realize that Jesus has all power in Heaven and on Earth. It is another to understand that the reason He has given us this power is so that we can solve problems, add value and meet needs in the lives of others. We are also empowered to save others and to call them to a life of discipleship.
Every time you conduct an exploit in somebody's life, an opportunity exists for you to positively influence their lives for Christ. However, if you are unconscious of or insensitive to the Holy Spirit's leading, you may miss out on many opportunities to influence people to be followers of Christ. You may not be able to preach to everyone you solve a problem for. However, do your best to remain sensitive to the Holy Spirit so that you do not miss out on any opportunity to preach and influence those that you have impacted or touched with God's power.
Do not forget that God is most concerned about the souls of men than anything else. It would not, ultimately, profit any man if their material needs or other needs are met, but their greatest need for God goes unmet. Assist people with God's mighty love and power that is in you, but be sure to invite them into a loving relationship with God through Christ.
PRAYER: Ask God to use you to be a problem solver for others, but more importantly, ask that He use you to bring people to His saving knowledge and grace.
