Philippians 2:5-7
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

Psalm 25:9 says, the meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way. James 4:6 says, but he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. You are not wasting your time by being meek and loving. As God exalted Jesus up and gave Him a Name above every other name because He humbled Himself to come and love and die for us (Phil.2:8-11), God will also lift you up because of your meek and loving attitude. Do not be afraid; your labour of love and service unto others will not be in vain, Heb.6:10.
Do not be weary in doing well. In due season, you will reap if you refuse to faint, Gal.6:9. Jesus did not humble Himself to love us because we deserved it; He did so because He is meek and loving and also because God the Father wanted Him to do it. Love and serve others not because they deserve it, but because we are meek and loving and because God desires for us to do so.
PRAYER FOCUS: Ask God to fill your heart with the loving meekness and lowly attitude of Jesus so you can love and serve others better.
