John 1:50-51,
Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these... Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.

Our first text above describes Nathaniel's amazement at the fact that Jesus knew him even before Jesus met him. In response, Jesus told him that he would see/experience even greater things as he followed Jesus. One such example was the opening of heaven to reveal angels ascending and descending upon Jesus. The only other place where this expression was used in the Bible was when Jacob ran from Esau, his brother. He stopped to spend the night in a strange land where he used a stone as a pillow. In a dream that night, Jacob saw heaven open and saw angels ascending and descending on a ladder that reached from heaven to the earth. He also saw God, who spoke to Him, and reassured him of His promises and presence that were with him.Jacob woke up from this dream, amazed at both the presence of God that he had experienced and the divine boost and new lease of life that he received (Gen.28:10-22). As Jesus promised Nathaniel, He also promises you that there are more glorious encounters of the supernatural ahead of you. These glorious encounters will have the same effect that Jacob's vision of angels ascending and descending had on him. The angels of God will minster to you as they ministered to Jesus (Matt.4:11) and they will also minister for you (Heb.1:13-14) like Peter experienced in Acts 12:7-11. Sometimes, it will appear as if you are dreaming but it will be an angelic ministration. You will receive divine boosts and a new lease of life at the moments you need them the most.
They will be experiences that will reposition you to fulfill your destiny and God's purpose for your life.
PRAYER FOCUS: Heavenly Father, I thank you in advance for the glorious supernatural encounters that you have in store for me.
