| Take Charge of Your Garden (2) |

Genesis 3:9-12
And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.
In Luke 19:20-21, the third servant blamed his lack of productivity on the strictness of his master but his excuses and irresponsibility were not accepted. Similarly, instead of Adam taking responsibility for his wrong and repenting immediately, he instead blamed Eve. If you have sinned or fallen short of God's will, repent and turn away from that evil immediately. The earlier you turn away and repent, the sooner you will receive God's touch and restoration.
Don't take offense and direct the blame at others. Don't blame the devil and don't give the authority that God has given you to anything else. Instead, use the authority and dominion that God has given you to take charge of yourself and remedy the problem. Keep your emotions under control and do what is right before God.
PRAYER FOCUS: Heavenly Father, I receive grace to be a person that takes responsibility and focuses on changing and fixing whatever is wrong around me.
