The Mystery of Divine Joy

MONDAY
AUG. 1

Joel 1:12, Philippians 4:4
The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men. *Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

Author PhotoDid you know that the joy in your heart affects your increase and productivity in every area of your life? It is not the other way around. This is why you should never allow any single thing to stifle the joy that God has given you in Christ. In Habakkuk 3:17, Prophet Habakkuk declared that although he was not yet experiencing the results or productivity of his expectations, he would continue to rejoice. That is the mindset we must maintain to be strong and to breakthrough every temporal challenge or set back that we may face.

There will be so many things in life that will attempt to steal, kill and destroy your joy, but you must decide not to let them. Through it all, you must never forget that God wants you to always have fulness of joy in His presence, Psa.16:11. The type of joy that will overflow into the lives of others and bring them out of any pit of sorrow or depression that they may be in. Romans 8:37 says, nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. The Bible says many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers him from them all, Psa.34:19.

Rejoice in the Lord! Jesus is Lord and His power and glory reign in your life and situation. No matter what your situation looks like, every knee is going to bow and every tongue is going to confess that Jesus is Lord in your life. God's Word concerning your life will prevail. Rejoice in God's love and promises to you. They are what will guarantee your experience of His supernatural life and power. Rejoice about God's presence that is with you. It is well with you because God is with you. Child of God, you are not alone.

CONFESSION:
AThis is the day and the month that the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it! I will rejoice in the Lord always!
