CGMG ABOVE ONLY -Seeing Jesus Rightly

Seeing Jesus Rightly

   WEDNESDAY

Matthew 16:13&15 (GNB)
Jesus went to the territory near the town of Caesarea Philippi, where he asked his disciples, "Who do people say the Son of Man is?" *"What about you?" he asked them. "Who do you say I am?" Simon Peter answered, "You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God." "Good for you, Simon son of John!" answered Jesus. "For this truth did not come to you from any human being, but it was given to you directly by my Father in heaven.

Author1 PhotoThe reason Jesus was concerned about the perception of others about Him was because that perception determined their ability to receive the power, grace and glory that God intended for them to receive from Him. In the Good News Bible, Matthew 13:53-58 says, “when Jesus finished telling these parables, he left that place and went back to his hometown. He taught in the synagogue, and those who heard him were amazed… Isn't he the carpenter's son? Isn't Mary his mother, and aren't James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas his brothers? … where did he get all this?" And so they rejected him. ..." Because they did not have faith, he did not perform many miracles there.

Today, so many are still missing out on the glorious impact and transformation that God intends for their lives because they fail to see and believe in Jesus the way that they should. You are different.

The way we see Jesus also affects our ability to represent Him. In Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus declared that all power in Heaven and on earth has been given unto Him. He commanded us to go and make disciples of all nations. If you really believe that all power in Heaven and on earth has been given to Jesus, then it means that no power can withstand you whenever you represent Him. Jesus will manifest His dominion and lordship through you and His power and glory shall be seen through you.

PRAYER FOCUS : Ask God to open your spiritual eyes today to clearly see the awesome power and glory of Christ in all His ramifications.
