Keep Seeking & Doing God Will |

1Timothy 6:17, 1Kings 11:9
Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not high minded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; *And the LORD was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned from the LORD God of Israel, which had appeared unto him twice,

Make up your mind today that no matter how blessed and anointed you become, you will continue to acknowledge God as your source and continually seek to know Him and to do His will. Despite how simple this may sound, it will help you a great deal in remaining humble and will keep you on track to keep serving God and receiving grace and blessings from Him, James 4:6.
God wants us to seek Him for our needs to be met but He also wants us to seek Him for His wisdom, for more of His life and for grace to do His will. If we are seeking God only for our needs to be met, then we are unconsciously making those things that we seek Him for our gods. Having things will not truly satisfy our hearts but knowing God and pleasing Him at all times will.
Be grateful for the things God gives you but do not become high minded or proud because of them. Be very cautious about this. This may have been what caused Solomon's derailment towards the end of his life. Don't turn the things that God gives you into your god. Colossians 3:5 tells us that covetousness is idolatry. In Jeremiah 9:23-24, the Bible implores us not to glory or rejoice in our wisdom, power or riches but to do so in the fact that we know God. Is this what your heart really seeks and rejoices about? You must also always remember that God blesses you to be a blessing. Continue to seek God for how you can be a blessing with all the grace, anointing and blessings that He bestows upon you.
PRAYER: Thank God for all His grace and blessings in your life and receive His grace to keep seeking Him and doing His will.
