Patiently Cooperate with God |

Daniel 1:17-18, 20
As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams. Now at the end of the days that the king had said he should bring them in, then the prince of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar. *And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, … he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.

Many people, although conversant with the focus of Daniel Chapter 1, may not be as conversant with the fact that the process that Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego underwent in that chapter actually took three entire years. Throughout that time, they patiently held on to God and maintained a positive attitude, while putting their best into all that they did.
Although they were in captivity and had every reason to be confused and disoriented, they refused to allow their circumstances to weigh them down and it worked out for their good. God strengthened and upheld them. This same God will strengthen and uphold you in every situation you find yourself. Child of God, it is through faith and patience that we inherit the promises of God (Heb.6:12), so do not be slothful in your faith or in your patience.
In Christ, you have what it takes to stand out and to be above only in every situation that you find yourself. However, you must be patient and continue to cooperate with God no matter what you are going through. Do not compromise and do not allow yourself to be distracted by life's circumstances. Remain focused on God and what He has in store for you. God is always at work in you, making you willing and able to do His will (Phil.2:13) so cooperate with Him. Continue yielding yourself to Him and doing His will. Keep your eyes focused on Him and also maintain excellence and diligence in all that you are engaged in.
PRAYER FOCUS: Dear Father, I receive grace to remain patient and to continue to yield myself to you and to your workings in my life.
