Exodus 14:13-16 (GNB)
Moses answered, "Don't be afraid! Stand your ground, and you will see what the LORD will do to save you today; you will never see these Egyptians again. The LORD will fight for you, and all you have to do is keep still." The LORD said to Moses, "Why are you crying out for help? Tell the people to move forward. Lift up your walking stick and hold it out over the sea. The water will divide, and the Israelites will be able to walk through the sea on dry ground.

While the children of Israel cried to God to deliver them from the threat of Egypt and the hopeless situation they were facing, God was depending on Moses his servant to lift up his rod over the sea to divide it. Moses was carrying the solution all the while. God arose in the situation through him. God has also sent you and me into this world, just as He sent Christ. We are solutions wherever we find ourselves.We have answers to the problems of the world. For any darkness that you see around you, you have the light of God to handle it. For every situation that you desire God to arise and manifest His power, make yourself available because God wants to arise through you. In John 9:5, Jesus said that as long as He was in the world, He was the light of the world. Right now, He is not physically in the world but He is in you. You are now the light of the world, Matt.5:16.
Isaiah 60:1-3 says, “arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising”. God has placed you in charge of what happens wherever you are, Jer.1:10. If you are willing to make yourself a channel for God to flow and manifest His power, God will arise through you.
PRAYER FOCUS: Ask God to rise and shine His light through you today. Pray that He use you to touch lives and solve problems wherever you find yourself.
