Faith to Build Your Ark |

Hebrews 11:7, John 16:13 (GNB)
It was faith that made Noah hear God's warnings about things in the future that he could not see. He obeyed God and built a boat in which he and his family were saved. As a result, the world was
condemned, and Noah received from God the righteousness that comes by faith. *But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.

Jesus said that the Holy Spirit would show us things to come. These include revelations about our spiritual lives and relationships with God, to revelations about investing in the lives of others. The Spirit of Truth will reveal God's truth to you so as to prepare you for your future and the future of others.
Be quick to respond when the Holy Spirit stirs your heart about something. Refuse the temptation to be so overly concerned about things that are happening now that you cannot invest in the future.
When Joseph became Prime Minster in Egypt, he diligently stored grains for the future and it led to the preservation of many lives. Proverbs 22:3 says, a prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished. Don't ignore the promptings of the Spirit in your heart. Sometimes it can be something God wants you to stop doing.
Often times after something negative happens, some people say they actually had the feeling. But the issue is what did they do about it? When the Spirit of God is stirring your heart to do something, don't ignore it because there is no physical sign to show that it is necessary. There was no sign of rain when Noah started. Time spent on discipline and preparation is never wasted. Step out in faith and start building your ark.
PRAYER : Heavenly Father, I am open and yielded to you today. I receive grace to respond promptly as our Spirit stirs my heart.
