| Blessing Your Environment and Nation |

Genesis 26:4, Galatians 3:27-29 (NIV)
And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed. *For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise

Because you are in Christ, you are Abraham's seed and you are blessed, regardless of your tribe, gender or status. God has empowered you to succeed and prosper in whatever you do. You are empowered to be fruitful, multiply, replenish the earth, subdue it and have dominion. When God promised Abraham that He would give all countries to his seed and that through his seed all nations of the earth will be blessed, God meant every single word He uttered. God has not just blessed you, He has blessed you to be a blessing to your environment and to your nation. Bear in mind, child ofGod, that when the Bible references 'nations,' it is also referring to various fields and spheres of society.
Knowing that you are blessed is one thing; knowing how to release that blessing is another thing. One way that we can release the blessings of God upon our environment and our nation is via our words. The power of life and death is in our tongues and whatever we bind or refuse on earth shall be bound or refused in Heaven and whatever we loose or allow on earth shall be loosed or allowed in Heaven. What things are we saying to our environment and our nation; both in our prayers and in our daily conversations? What things are we agreeing together on concerning our nation and our environment? It is time for us to be more deliberate about releasing the blessing and life of God upon our environment and upon the things in our nation.
PRAYER FOCUS: Use your words right now to bless and release life into people and situations of your environment, nation and field.
