Grace to Show Justice To All Men |

2Samuel 8:15, Genesis 18:19
And David reigned over all Israel; and David executed judgment and justice unto all his people. *For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment.

God is concerned about the way we treat others. There must be no trace of wickedness and injustice in any of our dealings with people. God expects us to do good unto all men, especially to fellow believers (Gal.6:10). He also wants us to be at peace with all men, Heb.12:14. In Isaiah 58:6, the Bible says that God does not want us to be wicked, or to oppress people or to put heavy burdens and yokes on them.
As a leader, boss or employer, God expects you to treat those that serve you justly and fairly, remembering that you also have a Master in Heaven (Col.4:1). God's mindset of leadership is loving service, not lording over your subordinates. Wickedness and strife can prevent the life of God from flowing out of you as it should. These characteristics will also prevent you from being a good representative of the Kingdom of God. God's mindset is something He wants us to teach and pass on to our children.
In Psa.82:3 & 4, the Bible says, defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked. Jesus also reminded us that whatever we do to the least of His brethren, we have done unto Him. Jesus Himself will reward us for how we treat all men. Who we are and what we have must never be used as an opportunity to oppress anyone, but rather as an opportunity to bless others. Like your Heavenly Father, let your sun shine upon the evil and the good (Matt.5:45). In other words, do not rejoice when you see evil consuming the lives of others.
PRAYER FOCUS: Ask God to help you to be a man or a woman who shows justice and fairness in all your dealings with people.
