Genesis 39:2-5 (GNB)
The LORD was with Joseph and made him successful. He lived in the house of his Egyptian master, who saw that the LORD was with Joseph and had made him successful in everything he did. Potiphar was pleased with him and made him his personal servant; so he put him in charge of his house and everything he owned. From then on, because of Joseph the LORD blessed the household of the Egyptian and everything that he had in his house and in his fields.

Today, we shall focus on how deliberate faith, selflessness, genuine concern for others and not allowing our condition to limit us can help us to be indispensable Christians. Just like Joseph, God wants you to have the faith to believe that because of your presence, things are going to work and that God will bless that place. You need to pray like this for every environment that you find yourself in. Desire it from your heart, pray about it and declare it because that is God's will. God will answer you and show you how you can bring it to pass. The Bible declares that in you shall all the nations of the earth be blessed, Acts 3:25. You carry the blessing of the environment that you are in right now. It is time for you to begin to release it deliberately into that environment.
Joseph also did not allow the fact that he was a slave in Egypt to prevent him from being diligent, productive and excellent in his work. It must have taken a lot of selflessness on Joseph's part and a lot of genuine concern for him to seriously handle the affairs of Potiphar's house and business like he did. Instead of being bitter, he was a blessing. God moved through him and blessed Potiphar's house. 2Kings 5:1-3 tells of how a little Israeli girl who was serving as a slave in the land of Syria showed concern for the condition of Naaman - the husband of her mistress. Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego did not allow the fact that they were slaves in a strange land to limit them. Don't let anything limit you from deliberately being a blessing where you are.
PRAYER FOCUS : Release the blessing of God upon your environment right now and declare that things will work because of your presence.
