Christ's Death Has Given You Strength

TUESDAY APR. 11

Romans 5:6 (KJV, GNB, NIV, AMP) For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. *For when we were still helpless, Christ died for the wicked at the time that God chose. *You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. *While we were yet in weakness [powerless to help ourselves], at the fitting time Christ died for (in behalf of) the ungodly.

Because of the death of Christ, you are no more helpless, without strength, powerless or weak in any area of your life. We were all helpless, powerless and weak against the devil and his power because Adam's sin caused us to die spiritually and fall short of the glory of God. But because of the death of Jesus, we have now been restored and raised up back to the realm of God's power and glory. If we remain ignorant of the power that we have in Christ, we will be vulnerable to the schemes and tricks of the devil. Through His death, Jesus destroyed the power that the devil 'had' over us, Heb.2:14. Now, you can do all things through Christ that strengthens you. In Luke 10:19, Jesus said that He has given us power to tread on snakes and scorpions and over all the powers of the enemy.

Just as God anointed Jesus with the Holy Ghost and power (Acts 10:38), God has also anointed you with the Holy Ghost and power. The Holy Spirit has empowered you to produce evidence that Christ is alive, Acts 1:8. In Christ you are strong. In Christ you have power over sin, sickness, poverty and every bondage and affliction of the devil. You have power to overcome the world. You have power to do exploits. You have power to preach the gospel and to manifest God's power to save and deliver men from the devil's bondage. You have power to serve and to solve problems. You have power to generate great ideas. You have power to create things and to have positive impact and influence wherever you find yourself. You have power to be the salt and light and to be the head and not the tail wherever you find yourself.

CONFESSION: Because of the death of Christ, I am no longer weak in any area of my life. I am strong and I will do exploits today.
