| You Are Seated Together With Christ |

Ephesians 2:4-6, Colossians 2:9-10
But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ (by grace ye are saved), And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: *For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and Power.

Our first text above teaches us that because of God's great mercy and love for us, He united us with Christ and both raised us up and seated us together with Christ in heavenly places. According to Ephesians 1:20-21, the position that God the Father placed Jesus after raising Him from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit is a position that is far above principalities and power, might and dominion and every name, both in this world and in the word to come. If you believe in Jesus, that is the same position that you occupy right now in the spirit. Your spiritual position haschanged from what it was prior to you becoming born again. By your resurrection with Christ, you do not only have new life, you also have a new spiritual position of authority: the same spiritual authority that Christ has.
Just as Christ has all the fulness of God dwelling in Him, you also have all the fulness of God dwelling in you because of Christ. You are complete in Him. That same power that Christ commands over all principalities and powers, all might and dominions and any other name is on the inside of you. That is why Jesus sent you into the world just as the Father sent Him into the world. You can exert the same impact and influence that Christ can exert. As Christ is, so are you in this world, 1John 4:17b. The grace to grow in this understanding and to manifest this new position and authority that you have in Christ is upon you today. From today, you will walk in unimaginable victory, power and divine dominion and you will do great exploits.
PRAYER FOCUS: Thank God for this new position of authority He has given you in Christ. Receive grace to walk in it and manifest it more.
