1Peter 2:9 (AMP), Revelation 5:9b-10
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God's] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. *… for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

People who are born into a royal family maintain a special aura of royalty around them. This aura produces a kind of boldness, confidence and sense of uniqueness in them. They are trained from birth with the knowledge that they are special and different and that they cannot necessarily subscribe to what everyone else is doing. They are trained with the confidence that they are to rule, reign and have influence. They realize that they are entitled to the wealth, resources and inheritance of the kingdom. They do not move around alone but usually have escorts and guards to accompany them.Do you know that once you believed in Jesus, you were born into the family of the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords? You now belong to the royal family of God. This royal family of God exists and reigns in both Heaven and earth, Eph.3:14-15. You are an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ, Rom.8:17. You have angelic escorts guarding you (Psa.34:7) and ministering to your needs, Heb.1:13-14.
Kings rule in the natural realm and priests rule in the spiritual realm. You are not only a member of the family of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, you are one family with Christ the High Priest – the one in whom the fulness of God dwells and the One who is Head over all principalities and powers, Col.2:9-10. As a king and a priest, you have the ability to rule and reign both in the natural realm and in the spiritual realm. Your royalty in God empowers you to be strong and to do exploits.
PRAYER: Thank God that being a part of His royal family has made you a king and a priest to rule, reign and do exploits.
