And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak unto thee. And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me. *For this reason I fall on my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth receives its true name. I ask God from the wealth of his glory to give you power through his Spirit to be strong in your inner selves.

Doing exploits is a function of divine strength and one major way that God stirs up His supernatural strength in us is by His Spirit. Today, we shall focus on a few things that we should do often to stir up the supernatural strength of the Spirit of God in our inner man.In our first text above, we see that as Ezekiel heard the voice of God, the Spirit of God entered into him and caused him do what God was instructing him to do, i.e., to rise up on his feet. The Spirit of God works with the Word of God. As we allow what God is declaring about us to consume us, the Spirit of God causes that Word to become a reality in our lives. In John 6:63, Jesus
declared that His words are Spirit and life. The quickening power and life of God's Spirit is activated in us as the Word of God fills us; especially the revelation of Jesus and His finished work for us, Col.3:16.
Another major thing that stirs up the supernatural strength of the Spirit of God in us is praying; especially praying in tongues. In 1Corinthians 14:4a, Apostle Paul informs us that anyone who prays in unknown tongues edifies him or herself. To edify is to build up and charge your spirit man. Jude 1:20 says, but ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost. Praying abundantly in tongues was one of Apostle Paul's major secrets (1Cor.14:18) and it will also benefit you to develop the supernatural strength of God into your inner man.
PRAYER FOCUS: Receive grace to fill yourself with God's Word and to pray consistently in tongues. Spend some time praying in tongues right now.
