A Lifetime Affair

�He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favour from the LORD.�

Proverbs 18:22 (NIV)

As designed by God, marriage is the fusing together of two human beings to become one. It is a union that ought to last for the period in which the two parties remain alive.

Upon seeing man’s need for companionship, God created woman and carried out the first marriage union. God created marriage as a loyal partnership between one man and one woman. He created marriage to be the firmest foundation for building a family.

Marriage mirrors God’s covenant relationship with His people and His intention is for the husband and wife to steer each other in His direction. Marriage is a partnership; two people working together to fulfil God’s purpose despite the odds. When godly principles are followed, marriage has many rewards for both the husband and wife.

TAKE ACTION

Pray that God will cause you to enjoy the fruits and rewards of marriage.
