Pursue the Primary Purpose

Give honour to marriage, and remain faithful to one another in marriage

Hebrews 13:4 (NLT)

It is important for every child of God who wants to enjoy the fruits of marriage to maintain a godly perspective of the purpose of marriage. This is the foundation for every successful marriage relationship.

Within the union of marriage, God has created a unique opportunity for you to develop true intimacy and authenticity with your spouse. God wants us to go beyond coming together for the purpose of companionship and having children to having a marriage that is deeply rooted in His love.

In whatever season your marriage is in, you must remember why God brought you and your spouse together. Your marriage is a ministry to unbelievers, creating room for them to experience a real demonstration of the kind of love God has towards them.

TAKE ACTION
Ask God to help you love your spouse with the same unconditional love He has for you.
