Trust in God Wholeheartedly |

Judges 7:2-3 (NIV)
The Lord said to Gideon, "You have too many men for me to deliver Midian into their hands. In order that Israel may not boast against me that her own strength has saved her, announce now to the people, 'Anyone who trembles with fear may turn back and leave Mount Gilead.'" So twenty-two thousand men left, while ten thousand remained.

Can you believe that out of thirty-two thousand men, God chose to use just three hundred of them to do exploits with Gideon, Judges 7:6-8? Often times, we do not need all the things and people that we think we need to achieve all the great things and exploits that God seeks to achieve through us. This is why we must never limit God by the way we think. God wants us to trust Him whole heartedly. When you trust in God, He will cause even the limited resources that you have to multiply and achieve even more than those with considerably more resources.
In the Good News Bible, Proverbs 3:5-6 says, trust in the LORD with all your heart. Never rely on what you think you know. Remember the LORD in everything you do, and he will show you the right way. God may not do what you desire in the way that you expect it, but He will do it in a way which is better than you could have ever imagined and in a way that will bring Him all the glory. God specializes in using the unexpected to achieve the unimaginable so that He alone is glorified, 1Cor.1:27-29. God does not want the glory that is due to His name to be shared by anyone or anything else, Isa.42:8.
In 1Corinthians 15:10, Apostle Paul acknowledged that though he worked harder than other apostles, everything he achieved was by the grace of God. As God begins to do unimaginable exploits through your life this year, please remain humble and continue to give Him all the glory.
PRAYER FOCUS: Tell God you trust Him wholeheartedly and yield yourself to Him for the great exploits He wants to achieve through you.
