The Faith Banquet - Justification In Christ Jesus. Part 5

  1. Access by Faith into Grace. Vs.2, “By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand:
To have access means to have entrance and passage into a place. Justification gives us entrance or passage into the grace by faith. Grace is the state of God’s favor or presence. Implying that we can now walk freely on holy ground. We have access to His grace, and more we have access to God. We can now know and understand that we are welcome into the presence of God.
Ephesians 2:14-15, “For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
Jesus broke down the middle wall of partition or separation. The thing that has separated us from the presence of God and His goodness and favor, Jesus tore down and brought us into a relationship with our Father God. By destroying in His own crucified flesh the enmity that separated us from the God’s presence, Jesus Christ ushered us into the very glorious presence of God. He made us have unhindered access into the glorious inheritance of our redemption.

Matthew 27:50-51, “Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
While Jesus was on the cross, He cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the spirit. He gave up His life. And the veil of the temple was rent into two from the top to the bottom. God released His presence from the heaven down into the heart of men on earth. No more entrance into the Most Holy Place once a year. No more priests going into the presence of God on my behalf. Now I can access the Most Holy Place by my faith in Christ, as much and as long as I desired. This access to God is based on the merit of the blood of Jesus. Hebrews 9:1-8.

Hebrews 4:16, “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. This is the invitation of the Spirit of God. This is a glorious calling into the throne of grace. We are to come with confidence and bold faith to the throne of grace. This is a calling to obtain and receive mercy. This is a calling to find grace – unmerited favor – to help us in time of our need. This is an invitation to know and enjoy the glorious abundance according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. This is a wonderful and great promise of inheritance.
