THE NECESSITY OF KNOWLEDGE
(31 votes)
OVERVIEW
SCRIPTURE: ‘…But the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.’ Daniel 11:32.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Ignorance instils instability.
Knowledge is a vital tool to destiny fulfilment. What a man knows will either make or mar him depending on the kind of knowledge. Knowledge sets free; knowledge also destroys.
Today, we shall be looking at the necessity of positive knowledge, especially the knowledge of God’s Word.
Why do we need the right knowledge?
1. Knowledge is the key to stability (Isaiah 33:6). The right knowledge gives stability. Ignorance instils instability. God never breaks His Word. People are not stable because they are ignorant.
2. Knowledge brings inner strength (Daniel 11:32). Your spiritual experience is strengthened by the things you know. It is lack of the knowledge of God’s Word that makes people to be weaklings in life. Ignorant people are weak people.
3. Knowledge delivers (Proverbs 11:9): Through knowledge shall the just be delivered. The absence of knowledge is the reason for bondage. People are tied because knowledge is bankrupt.
Beloved, I counsel you to be dedicated to the studying and obeying of God’s Word. Make up your mind to treasure God’s word more than your food like Job (Job 23:12) and then you will gain stability and strength, and remain in victory.
Remember this: Ignorance instils instability.
ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Treasure the knowledge of God and His Word above everything in your life.
2. Put the knowledge you have into practice.
