Obtaining Justification.
Justification is obtained by believing in the Lord Jesus and trusting in His blood. The blood of Jesus is His life He gave up when He died on the cross. No man can be justified before God by his own works.
Galatians 2:16, “Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified”.
Justification does not come by the works or deeds of the law. The law was not given to make any thing prefect or complete. Being in right standing with God does not come by deeds of the law. It only comes by faith.
Genesis 15:6, “And he believed in the LORD, and He accounted it to him for righteousness”.
Abraham was justified-declared and made righteous-by believing in the LORD. God made Abraham to be in right standing with through his faith in Him. Therefore, justification can only be obtained and received by believing in God who is just and the Justifier of those who has faith in Jesus. In other translation, God demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be righteous and the righteousness of the one who has faith in Jesus.
Justification is received freely by His [God’s] grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
Romans 3:24, “being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus”.
Justification is a product of the grace. The redemption in Christ is according to the riches of His grace, and in this is the justification.
Romans 4:25, “Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification”.
Jesus Christ was delivered and crucified on account of our offences and was raised back to life again on account of our justification. Jesus Christ was raised back to life when we were made righteous in Him. The Bible says He was justified in the spirit, and then made alive in the spirit. The authority of our justification stands in the power of the resurrection of Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:13,14,17.
The righteousness reckoned to the believer is the righteousness of the Christ Himself as Son of God – the righteousness of God – perfect and complete righteousness. 2 Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 10:12-14. Justification is received by faith in Christ Jesus and His blood. Hebrews 10:19-20; Romans 5:1.
