CGMI ABOVE ONLY - Dominating In God's Image

Dominating in God's Image

 Genesis 1:26-27
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Author PhotoThere is a divine sense of fullness and completeness that fills your life the moment you realize that you bear the image and likeness of God. The dominion that Adam lost as a result of his fall in the Garden of Eden has been fully restored to you and I who are in Christ, Rom.5:17. Colossians 1:15 and Colossians 2:9&10 show us that Christ is the image of the invisible God and that the fullness of God dwells in Him. It also says that you and I are complete in Christ. This is because God has made us just like Christ. As Christ is, so are we in this world, 1John 4:17.

One of the assignments of the Holy Spirit in your life is to strengthen your consciousness of being a child of God, Rom.8:16. You are a son or daughter of God in the same way Christ is. Now you can exercise the same kind of authority and dominion that Christ has. This means that nothing can stop you from being fruitful, multiplying, replenishing and subduing the earth and having dominion in every area of your life. You can dominate over everything that wants to limit you or hold you down. In Luke 10:19 Jesus said, behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and
over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Nothing can stop you, child of God, because nothing can stop the abundant life of God that is in you. You have dominion over sin, sickness, poverty, frustration and every kind of limitation. Exercise that dominion today.

FAITH DECLARATION:
I dominate in every area of my life today because I have God's life and I bear His image and likeness.
