THE HIDDEN MAN
"But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price."— 1 PETER 3:4
"For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day." — 2 CORINTHIANS 4:16
Let’s allow God to tell us what the heart is. In First Peter 3:4, God says that the heart is a man — a hidden man. That is, this hidden man is hidden to the physical senses. You can’t see him with your physical eye, nor feel him with your physical hand. =That’s because he is not a physical being; he is the “inward man” spoken of in Second Corinthians 4:16. These two expressions found in Scripture give us God’s definition of the human spirit: “The inward man” and “the hidden man of the heart.”
Confession
"I believe God from the hidden man of my heart. I believe God from my inward man. I believe God from my spirit."
