Allow God to Find You   FRIDAY OCT. 14
	Psalm 89:20, Acts 13:22  I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him: With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him. *And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfill all my will. God is always looking for men and women who are after His own heart; men and women that He can use and place in positions of influence to transform lives and to do His will on earth just as it is in Heaven. Will you allow God to find you today? If you want God to find you, then you have to maintain close fellowship with Him and make yourself available for His use. It was during the mundane task of sheep rearing that God found David, a young boy after God's own heart. You have to have a servant's heart and consistently seek God's heart. To seek after God's own heart is to be passionate about loving God, serving Him and doing His will above everything else. Make knowing God and pleasing Him your greatest passion. It is a thing of the heart. Outwardly, David's brothers fit the mold for the next king. Although David looked rough and dirty as a result of his work as a shepherd, he maintained the heart God was looking for, 1Sam.16:5-13. If you make yourself available for God, He will find you no matter your location. He will bless you, He will anoint you and He will use you mightily. The lives of so many people are going to be blessed by you. God's grace and mighty power will flow through you. There is no man or woman that has allowed God to find them that has ever regretted it. Like David, God can use you to bring down Goliaths that have terrorized the lives of people and nations. God will use you to set people free and restore hope and joy to many. You will lead and positively influence the lives of others. You will raise mighty men. PRAYER FOCUS: Tell God that you are available to Him for His use and that you want to please Him with all your heart.
