THE FAITH BANQUET - JUSTIFICATION IN CHRIST JESUS. PART 1

  1. Justification In Christ Jesus.

Romans 3:21-26 KJVBut now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
(22) Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
(23) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
(24) Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
(25) Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
(26) To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.”

Justification of the believer came through the finished work of Jesus Christ. This finished work is the complete redemption that is in Christ. The complete redemption was obtained when Jesus Christ our Lord entered the heavenly Most Holy Place with His precious blood, to appear in the presence of God for us.

By one perfect offering, Jesus Christ perfected and made complete forever those who are being sanctified. The perfect sacrifice was made by a perfect person to prefect the imperfect people. Jesus Christ did everything needed to be done to make them that believe in is name to be justified.

For by a single sacrifice He has forever completely cleansed and perfected those who are consecrated and made holy. So, it implies that God has made our justification effective and complete in Christ Jesus. God accomplished the entire requirement for our justification in Christ Jesus. Romans 3:24, “Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:” Justification came by His grace through the redemption in Christ. The redemption in Christ was accomplished through His blood – the remission of sins, and this according to the riches of His grace. Once sins were remitted there is no a longer need for sacrifice for sin because the blood has been shed for the atonement.

Justification is available to all who receives and believes in the risen Christ.
Acts 26:18, “To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them, which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

As many as have faith in Him receive forgiveness of sins and inheritance. By believing in Him, God Himself becomes the righteousness of the one who has faith in Jesus.
